Franco – German, Vienna based mixed media artist. She graduated in Journalism and Communication at the University of Vienna, attended the European Film College/Denmark and the School of Documentary/Salzburg. Her artistic practice takes place at the intersections of video art, performance and theater. She addresses, within a social sciences framework, perspectives of perception and representation of marginalized bodies and investigates social constructs. Her recent work covers dynamics and questions on modern working environments, such as the music project Feministische Industriellenkapelle, the interdisciplinary collective Feldarbeiter*innen and an association for the promotion of transmedial art Studio OABYTE.
